Move over, standard hypercars. Hennessey just upped the ante in a massive way with a new division dedicated to the wildest of dream builds. Their new "Maverick" team made its debut not with a simple concept, but with a one-of-a-kind monster built for American collector Louis Florey.
This isn't just another Venom F5; it's called the "LF," and it now holds the crown as the most powerful, most expensive, and most intricate car Hennessey has ever created.
While its stunning "River Sand" metallic paint over a "Coco Brown" carbon fiber body is a head-turner, the real magic is under the skin. In a move that will make purists cheer, Hennessey fitted it with a six-speed gated manual transmission—a glorious rarity in a world of hypercars with over 2,000 horsepower. And yes, you read that right. Its reworked 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 now produces a mind-bending 2,031 horsepower.
Based on the track-focused Revolution roadster, the LF also gives us a sneak peek at the future. It's essentially the testbed for the upcoming "Evolution" package for all Venom F5s. It's dripping with new aero parts—a bigger wing, new splitters, the works—all bolted to a new, stiffer carbon fiber chassis that even makes the cockpit a nicer place to be with more room for your feet.
Inside, it's a driver's paradise with a milled aluminum console, new switches, and a super cool bolt-action parking brake, all designed to make the act of driving feel as special as it is.
The kicker? Hennessey announced that the Evolution package seen on this car will become the new standard for all future Venom F5s. Even current owners can send their cars back to the newly minted Maverick division to get this insane 2,031 hp powertrain and aero kit fitted.
So, to recap: more power, a manual gearbox, and a factory division now dedicated to making the impossible possible. Consider the bar officially raised.
