Hungarian restomod wizard KAMM has taken the beloved Porsche 912 and turned it into something even more special—the 912c Targa. This isn’t just a restored classic; it’s a lightweight, high-performance beast wrapped in retro charm. Tipping the scales at just 1,763 lbs (800 kg), it’s as light as an original Smart ForTwo—but with way more soul and speed.

Carbon Fiber & Clever Dieting

KAMM went all-out to shed weight:

  • Full carbon fiber body panels, roll hoop, and even wing mirrors

  • Lexan polycarbonate windows (because every gram counts)

  • A retro-futuristic vibe with Cibie spotlights, a carbon roof rack, and even a custom surfboard (because why not?)

The first model rocks a head-turning Tangerine paint job, looking like it just rolled out of a ‘60s beachside dream—but with modern aggression.

More Power, More Fun

Under the hood, the original 1.6L flat-four got a serious upgrade:

  • 2.0L air-cooled engine now pumping out 185 hp & 151 lb-ft

  • Five-speed dogleg transmission (with optional gear ratios for track junkies)

  • TracTive semi-active suspension, Brembo brakes, and a limited-slip diff for razor-sharp handling

This isn’t just a restored Porsche—it’s a driver’s car, raw and unfiltered, with just enough modern tech to keep things thrilling.

Bespoke Luxury (For Those Who Can Swing It)

Want one? Get ready to go custom. Paint, interior, details—KAMM lets you go wild. But exclusivity comes at a price: €395,000 (~$407,000) before options.

Founder Miklós Kázmér calls it the perfect mix of street comfort and track-ready edge—equally at home carving canyons or cruising the coast.

Production slots for 2025 are open, but these won’t last. If you want a Porsche that’s rare, lightweight, and packed with personality, this might be your ultimate restomod.
