The very first customer-ready RML GT Hypercar has been revealed, finished in a bold Storm Purple with gold wheels that ensure it won’t go unnoticed.

UK engineering outfit RML Group has officially launched the production-spec GT Hypercar—an extreme reimagining of the Porsche 911 Turbo S that blends motorsport-inspired design with serious performance upgrades.

From Prototype to Production

After debuting last year as the P39 prototype, the finalized version has now been showcased at the Salon Privé event in the UK. This particular car is a 40th Anniversary Special Edition (SE), marking RML’s milestone celebration and explaining its unique, bespoke specification.

Motorsport-Inspired Styling

Although the GT Hypercar shares a few components with the standard 911—such as the greenhouse, mirrors, and lights—nearly everything else has been overhauled in lightweight carbon fiber. Aggressively widened fenders, a stretched tail section, and race-grade aerodynamics give it the presence of a Le Mans Hypercar designed for public roads.

This debut model wears a Storm Purple finish, accented with exposed carbon details and purple-tinted carbon sections across the roof and hood inserts. The center-lock gold wheels sit over Gunmetal brake calipers, while hand-painted RML crests and gold GTH lettering complete the look.

Inside, the cabin has been reupholstered in leather with Crayon stitching and matching seatbelts, plus carbon trim pieces painted to match the exterior. A Storm Purple roll cage replaces the rear seats, thanks to the inclusion of both the Performance Pack and Track Pack, which also add an adjustable active suspension system.

Performance to Match the Looks

Power comes from a rear-mounted 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six that has been comprehensively reworked by Litchfield Motors. The result? A staggering 907 horsepower and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque, pushing the car firmly into hypercar territory.

Exclusivity and Pricing

RML will build just 39 examples of the GT Hypercar at its Wellingborough facility, including 10 Anniversary Special Editions. Prices begin at £495,000 ($665,000)—before taxes and the cost of the donor Porsche 911 Turbo S.

Track-Bred Engineering

The GT Hypercar doesn’t just look like a race car—it’s engineered like one. With an extended wheelbase, wider tracks, and active aerodynamics (including an adjustable rear wing and large front splitter), it’s designed for serious track performance.

RML even claims Nürburgring lap times could dip into the 6:30 range, potentially making it quicker than the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Manthey.

RML’s Vision

CEO Paul Dickinson described the project as a showcase of the company’s strengths:

“GT Hypercar demonstrates the very best of RML Group. Our ability to deliver world-class, groundbreaking solutions in record time and within budget is unrivaled.”

The GT Hypercar is road legal but optimized for track use, and with only 39 set to be built, it’s destined to become one of the rarest and most extreme Porsche-based hypercars ever created.
