A Bold and Unconventional Masterpiece
The Bentley EXP 15 isn’t just another concept car—it’s a daring reimagining of what a grand tourer can be. Tall, sleek, and utterly unique, this three-seat EV flips convention on its head with two doors on the left and just one on the right, a nod to Bentley’s legendary 1930 Speed Six "Blue Train" racer that famously outpaced a French locomotive.
Bentley calls it a "sedan," but its low, coupe-like stance channels the Continental GT while adding a twist: a right-hand driver’s seat, a rear seat behind it, and a third seat on the left. And yes, there’s even a custom dog bed in the renderings—because why shouldn’t your pup travel in Bentley luxury? The pièce de résistance? A tailgate with built-in picnic chairs, perfect for post-polo match champagne toasts.
Where Electric Meets Extravagance
Gone is the traditional grille—replaced by a mesmerizing "digital art" lighting display, as designer Robin Page describes it. The iconic long hood now hides two storage compartments (because even futurism needs practicality). Inside, the EXP 15 blends cutting-edge tech with timeless craftsmanship: digital dashboards share space with tactile knobs, quilted leather, and wool fabrics from a 250-year-old British mill.
A Glimpse Into Bentley’s Future
The EXP 15 isn’t just a flight of fancy—it’s a strategic experiment. Bentley’s design team is probing the market: Will buyers cling to classic sedan shapes, or embrace something more avant-garde? As Page puts it, "Concept cars let us test the waters. The GT and SUV segments are strong, but sedans are changing. This is our playground."
At first glance, the EXP 15 might seem radical—but dig deeper, and it’s pure Bentley. A century ago, Ettore Bugatti mocked the Bentley 3-Litre as the "fastest lorry in the world." Yet that brute elegance won races and hearts. Similarly, the EXP 15—with its asymmetry, electric soul, and unapologetic swagger—proves Bentley’s spirit hasn’t dimmed. It’s just charging into tomorrow.
