The Lanzante 95-59: A 850HP, Three-Seat Beast That Honors Racing Royalty

Forget "sensible supercars"—the Lanzante 95-59 laughs in the face of compromise. With over 850 horsepower, a full carbon fiber body, and a central driver’s seat (yes, just like the legendary McLaren F1), this thing is pure automotive theater. And no, it’s not just another F1 tribute—it’s a brand-new machine, built on a McLaren chassis but dripping with Lanzante’s racing DNA.

Three’s a Crowd? Not Here.

The 95-59 joins an exclusive club of three-seat hypercars, rubbing shoulders with the McLaren Speedtail and Gordon Murray’s T.50. Its name? A nod to the #59 McLaren F1 GTR—prepped by Lanzante—that won Le Mans in 1995. Even the production run (just 59 units) whispers "victory" to anyone who knows their racing history.

No Hybrids, No Compromises—Just Raw Power

Under that carbon skin lies a twin-turbo 4.0L V-8 (thanks, McLaren), cranking out 850+ hp and 649 lb-ft of torqueno electric assist, just pure, unfiltered combustion. Power hits the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and with a target weight of just 2,756 lbs (1,250 kg), this thing should be savagely quick.

Want to go even lighter? The LM30 Pack shaves another 44 lbs (20 kg) with forged wheels, titanium exhaust, and even gold-plated heat shielding (because why not?).

Looks That Kill (and Pay Homage)

No McLaren badges? No problem. The 95-59 still screams McLaren with dihedral doors, an active rear wing, and Ueno Grey paint—matching the livery of that 1995 Le Mans winner.

Debuting at Goodwood Festival of Speed, it’s labeled a "production-intent concept", so the full interior is still under wraps. But from what we’ve seen? Three seats, driver in the middle, passengers slightly behind—just like the F1.

The Price of Exclusivity

At £1.2 million (~$1.63M), the 95-59 sits between the Speedtail (£2.1M) and the 750S—costing 4.5 times more than the latter. But for collectors, it’s a rolling piece of history, blending race-winning pedigree, insane performance, and a seating arrangement that still makes jaws drop.

So… would you take the middle seat? 🚀
