Porsche has pulled the wraps off the all-new 911 Turbo S Hybrid, and it’s a game-changer. Revealed at the Munich Motor Show, the brand’s first hybrid Turbo doesn’t just add electrification—it redefines what the world’s most versatile supercar can do.

701 HP and Record-Breaking Speed

Borrowing hybrid tech from last year’s Carrera GTS, the new Turbo S takes things further with twin electric turbochargers paired to a 3.6-liter flat-six. The setup delivers a staggering 701 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful road-going 911 to date—outgunning even the ferocious GT2 RS.

Performance figures are nothing short of wild:

  • 0–60 mph in 2.4 seconds

  • 200 mph top speed (slightly down from before)

  • Nürburgring lap in 7:03.92, a full 14 seconds quicker than its predecessor

Despite carrying an extra 180 pounds thanks to its 1.9 kWh battery and electric motor integrated into the eight-speed PDK gearbox, Porsche insists the car feels sharper, grippier, and more agile than ever.

Hybrid Power Meets Classic Turbo Grip

The all-wheel-drive system comes standard, backed up by the latest Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, now powered by the car’s 400-volt architecture for faster response. Carbon-ceramic brakes are fitted at all four corners—16.5-inch discs up front and 16.1-inch at the rear—while wider 325-section rear tires help put down the power.

Aerodynamics have also been fine-tuned with active grille shutters, a deployable front diffuser, and an adaptive rear wing. Porsche claims these tweaks improve cooling while cutting drag by 10 percent. A titanium sports exhaust system is standard, both saving weight and sharpening the soundtrack.

Style and Customization

On the outside, the new Turbo S wears wider fenders and subtle styling updates, including accents in a bespoke shade called Turbonite and new center-lock wheels. Inside, the cabin is dressed with Turbonite details, carbon-fiber trim, and a Race-Tex headliner.

As ever, Porsche’s customization game is strong. Customers can opt for carbon-fiber wiper arms (yes, really) or take things further with the Paint to Sample program. Those who want to match their car with their wrist can even pick up a Porsche Design chronograph designed specifically for the Turbo S.

The Price of Progress

All this performance and technology comes at a cost. The 2026 911 Turbo S Coupe starts at $272,650, while the Cabriolet commands $286,650—roughly $30,000 more than the outgoing models. And with tariffs looming, Porsche warns prices could rise further by the time deliveries begin in spring 2026.

Still, that’s the price of owning the quickest, most advanced, and most powerful 911 ever built—a car that blends hybrid tech with the timeless Turbo formula.
